Ain’t that the truth…

I’ve been quite busy as of late.

Work was an onslaught this week, with the on-call duties. But this weekend has been quite interesting.

Picklescoop.com has moved to WordPress. Can you dig that!?!?!
So, we’re finally up and running with some motion towards a “new site”. I’ll convert my old posts to some basic HTML file for viewing. and more moves coming. Stay tuned!!!

well where do we start. Hunter and Carly are up here in Shreveport. went and had a few drinks with them and then some dinner at a jazz bar/restaurant called the “Noble Savage”. I hear they serve Antelope and their pizzas have Wild Boar Sausage. Interesting. to say the least.
Pounders, Michelle and Raul are in washington. Pounders is working on getting into grad school up there. Just let me know where to send the reference. By the time they get my letter, they’re gonna be paying you mass quantities to come to their school. 🙂
I was in New orleans last week (not this one just finishing, week before that) and I got to see WoodHead. He said their house survuved rather well. Except that he now has the entire tree phylum living there. I hear Bare went home and is over there. Ghoti and Camille are there. I’ll be by to visit both of ya’ll at some point.
Dad and cherie are in Keener at Mr Anthony’s. House getting worked on. Scotty, Julie and kids are in Laplace.
This weekend is some kind of BassMaster’s Convention here at my hotel, so the parking lot is more boats than cars. also the Red River Revel is this weekend, which is essentially their version of Jazz Fest. Crafts, music, food, drinks, etc. Gonna go look at train stuff in the next few days. I think Gonzo and heather are up here this weekend. i’d love to see them if possible.
Anyways, everyone take care. I hope to see all of you soon.
Peace. -P.Scoop

Pickle Scoop has returned from his glorious 2nd stint in beautiful downtown post Katrina New Orleans. No know diseases were transmitted…..er….intentionally.

Picklescoop said the residents were wise to evacuate this low-lying area of the city, as Hurricane Katrina left a trail of destruction in her wake. But not Picklescoop, he lives for this stuff (sleeping, eating, drinking eating MREs (Meals Ready To Eat), watching TV and oh yeah…doing some ocasional work.

An aerial tour of Picklescoop’s house revealed widespread damage, but not to fear the Tequila shot train will roll again. Picklescoop commented
“Hardly anything was left standing and almost everything that remains was under several feet of water and poo”.
