WHO THE **** IS PICKLESCOOP?!?!
Picklescoop is Shawn Foret, a New Orleans native with a passion for Mardi Gras, music, wrestling, camping, art, HO-Scale railroading, and podcasting. Picklescoop can be heard regularly on podcasts such as the Picklescoop Show, the NOW Show (a Wrestling talk podcast), and the Mind’s Affliction show. So why is he Picklescoop?
Picklescoop originally was defined as: (n) [Pick-ul- scu–p] a useless kitchen utensil. If you must get pickles out of a jar, use a fork.
However, at a local Scout Camp, SSR, Shawn was dubbed Picklescoop because they thought he was useless and in the way like a rarely used utensil. Needless to say, views changed when Pickle ran the kitchen, taught merit badges, and even was Camp Administrative Assisstant at one point. In fact, the “new” definition in the dictionary of Picklescoop is:
(n) [Pick-ul- scu–p]- (1) a useless kitchen utensil. (2) the man with the plan that resides in Metairie, LA.
Shaggy… Shaggy comes from Pickle’s early years working at Robert’s Fresh Market, because he used to have slightly long hair and a goatee. They thought the name suited him perfectly so It stuck with him for years with the “Robert’s crew” and they even called him that over the intercom, in regular conversation, even the owner and customers called him Shaggy. To this day, folks acquainted with Shawn from there call him Shaggy.
Another name is Huskee. This one deals with G-Runs (garbage Runs at Scout Camp. The beautifully g-nast G-Can sported at camp were Huskee brand Garbage Can. He was the G-Run director for 3 years, thus he was named Huskee in honor of the G-Run and his devotion to quick boxing and dumpster diving.
