Ain’t that the truth…

I’ve been quite busy as of late.

Work was an onslaught this week, with the on-call duties. But this weekend has been quite interesting.

Drinkin, turkey eatin’, and sleeping on Thanksgiving Day. Jr also called me to tell me to turn on 94.3 that morning because Alice’s Restaurant was on. Post Dinner with the fam, I went by GHOTI & Camille’s. Saw the wedding video. The GHOTI and Camille commentary while watching is an added bonus. Then went by The Eady’s. They were having a few folks over. We played Guesstures and had a few drinks. Then they were going to bed to go to the game in the AM. It was getting late too, so I headed home.

Friday return to work for a half day. When I left work, I turned in my car to the shop AGAIN. For some mysterious clunk that started right after i got it back from the dealership a few days earlier. They are looking into it. They claim they dont think the work is related to the work they were doing, but sounds mighty fishy that the clunk starts within 24 hours of getting it back… At this point, if it cost anything more than $200 , I’m thru with the J-Zimmy. . After all, I’ve put almost 3 G’s into it since the Storm. You were a good friend.

Anyways, post dropping off J-Zimmy, I went to Bud’s Broiler right across the street and had a #4 with extra patty and a cheese fry. Watched half the LSU game. Came back to the hotel and finished watching the game. Geaux Tigers!!
Last night, JR had a kickin’ party. I had an awesome time there. Excellent to see everyone out there.

Today, I went to the Down by the Riverside Festival. Great to see the local bands thriving, as well as Abita keeping their presence. Hung with JR, Jonathan, and Alisa. Then we all went to eat at Juan’s Flying Burrito. mmmm.. good food.

Gonna do work on the website tonight and start working on the train and house layout. I’ve gotten lots of new buildings for the train set in. Awesome. Pictures to be uploaded. Timmy (Goofy) works a block from. I saw him on Turkey Day. Seen lots of people and hope to continue the adventure thru the rest of the weekend. Stay tuned for more site updates, picklescoop updates, and more.
